Signature fields added to a document can be edited in various ways. Clicking a signature field displays four editing options.
Resizing
After clicking the double-sided arrow, a small dot appears on the opposite side, which you can use to enlarge or shrink the signature field to fit the surrounding text of the document.

Removing a signature from the document
Using the trash icon returns the signature field back to the toolbar, and you can then add the field to a different place in the document. You can also move the signature field elsewhere with the mouse, by simply grabbing and dropping it.

Placing a person's signature in multiple places in the document
If you need a certain user to sign the document in multiple places, you can simply copy the signature field.
Click the third icon, move to the place in the document where you want to add another signature, and place it there with the mouse.
If you want to remove such a duplicated signature field, click the trash icon. This time the signature field will not return to the toolbar, since it is only a duplicate.

Removing date and place
If your inserted document already contains the mentioned items, you can remove them from the signature field using the gear icon. The person will then only sign, without filling in the place or date next to the signature.

Signature footer
The footer is text generated below the signature — usually the first and last name or the company name. You can turn it off for a signature field:

Custom footer text (e.g. "on behalf of" when signing based on a power of attorney) can be set for team members in the workspace settings in the Team section — click the signer's name, enter the footer text, and save. You can find a detailed procedure in the article Signing a document on behalf of someone. Which details are generated in the footer of counterparties is determined by the workspace settings in the Signature section.
Once you have customized the signature fields to your liking, you can send the document as usual by clicking Continue to document signing.
For multi-page documents, we recommend paying attention when placing the signature boxes and adding them so that they do not extend into the next page. You can recognize the end of one page and the start of another in the preview by the dashed line:
If the signature fields extended into the next page, the signature would not be visible in the resulting PDF, or would be cut off.
