If recipients do not receive SMS messages with a PIN, there may be several reasons. To help you resolve the situation, we have prepared the following guide:
Recommended steps to resolve the problem
1.1 Restart your phone
Sometimes a simple reboot of your device can help resolve minor SMS delivery issues. After restarting, try to have the SMS with PIN code sent again.
1.2 Check the spam filter on Android
SMS messages can be mistakenly marked as spam and placed in the "Spam and blocked conversations" folder. Follow the instructions to check:
- Open the Google Messages app.
- Tap your profile icon or the three dots in the top right corner.
- Select Spam and blocked conversations.
For more information on settings, see Google Support for Android.
1.3 Check the unknown senders filter on iOS
On Apple devices, messages from unknown senders can be filtered. To check, do the following:
- Open the Messages app.
- Go to the Filters section.
- Check the Unknown Senders folder.
For more information, contact Apple Support.
1.4 Contact your operator
If a message fails to arrive, we recommend contacting the recipient's operator and requesting verification:
Test that SMS messages from Internet gateways are not blocked.
Your operator can help determine if the message was delivered and where the problem may have occurred.
